Durrës

It is located 39 km away from Tirana city, and it takes approximately 38 minutes to go there, 29 km from Rinas Airpot and it can be reached by car in 27 minutes; 3.3 km from Durrës city and can be reached by car about 9 minutes, depending on the traffic. To get to the destination from Tirana city you may follow the Tirana Durrës highway and turn to the Port overpass to follow the secondary road "Pavarësia" after 3 km and then take a right turn, near the Teuta complex.

The most preferred place to throw the hooks is the length of the pier, at the edge of which there is a sea with a depth of up to 2 meters. Alongside the pier there are bars and restaurants, but just a few meters from there you can visit hotels, bars and restaurants that offer various dishes and food.

Fishing alongside of Durrës beach is prohibited during the tourist season. However, the edge of the pier provides sufficient distance away from the vacationers. On the pier, you can fish mullet,

gilted head sea bream, sea bass, anchovy, see fish, leer fish, palamiti, garfish, and pipefish. But next to you, there are also fishermen catching octopus that hide between the rocks of the pier. Some of these fishermen catch them by bare hands after observing them between rocks or when the octopuses go hunting. One of fishermen said that he caught 3 octopuses in a few hours.
