Lezha

It is a very popular recreational fishing spot. The destination is located near the estuary of river Drin which runs into the sea, rich in fauna, the perfect fishing spot. The destination is located on a long stone embankment about 100 meters into the sea, while fishermen prefer to fish on its northern side. The distance from Tirana is 68.6 km away or 1 hour and 16 minutes by car, 47.4 km from Rinas Airport and takes 51 minutes to drive there. Also it is 9.2 km from Lezha city or 20 minutes by car.

If you come from Tirana city, then you will drive on the right direction and then the underpass to the left on the Tirana-Lezhë road, at Ishull Lezhë overpass take the direction of Ishull Lezhë. The road is in good conditions and the scenery lovely, keep driving straight until the end of the road until you reach near the sea. You can catch here mullet, white-sea bream, anchovy, bass and also blue crab.

The view while fishing is amazing, you can occasionally observe many birds flying over the lagoon behind your back. The coast in this destination is not very populated by vacationers so you can go there even during summer season. A number of restaurants are located along the road to the destination close to the fishing spot where you can taste local cuisine and of course fresh grilled fish.
