To get there from Tirana city you have to follow the Tirana-Lezhë road that passes through the Thumanë-Lac highway and then continue on the road towards Lezha city. At the intersection of Tale, you turn left and continue straight up to the entrance of the beach 7 km away, or a 9 minutes ride by car. The distance from Tirana city to Tale Beach is 55.7 km and can be reached by car in 1 hour. It is 41.6 km from Rinas Airport and takes it 40 minutes to go there. It is 16.3 km from Lezha city and it takes 22 minutes by car.
In Tale beach you can fish along its entire length, when there are no holiday-makers, however there are some places that are preferred by fishermen, depending on the sea currents. The fishing destination near the USA bar restaurant is preferred by fishermen. On the shore you can see large piles of shells and fish waste or other marine life, which indicates a rich fauna near this spot, not to be found in other parts of the beach.
You can catch mullet, bream, sea bass, turbot, anchovy, common sole, flat head grey mullet or, buccich”s goby. Apart for the summer season, the bars and restaurants stay closed except in the center of the beach where local residents or isolated tourists stay. The beach offers peace and relaxation while fishing and the panorama offers a piece of beauty of the Albanian coast. On the coast side lies the Mata Coast Park, a destination for aquatic birds but also for fish that prefer fresh and salty water.
