Durrës

The destination Portëz is 10.2 km away from Durrës city, a 23-minute drive. While from Tirana city it is 47.7 km away and it takes 59 minutes drive. It is 37.8 km away from Rinas Airport and it takes 43 minutes by car. To go from Durrës city you can follow the road to Porto Romano that passes behind the hills of Currilave, then continue to Shen Pali street, and turn left after 5 km of road or 12 minutes of walking. Portez is the name of the resort for holiday makers at the narrowest point of Bishti i Palles. From one shore to the other is no more than 600 meters wide. To get there from Tirana or Rinas Airport, follow the Tirana Durrës highway and at Kêneta overpass, exit the highway and take a straight road to the north up to Porto Romano, while then follow the Shen Pali road, the only one that leads to interior part of Bishti i Palles. Portez is the name of the residence where holiday makers go during the summer. Only during this period it is possible to use this recreational fishing spot, keeping a distance of 200 meters from the holiday makers. During the rest of the year the resort is closed and so is the path to the beach. There is no other path in this part that can be used to cross over to the seashore. Sea bass fish, sea bream fish, common sole fish, halibut fish and anchovy may fall on your hook.
