It is 39 km from Rinas Airport and the ride takes 45 minutes. It is located in Bishtin e Palles, a cape that stretches from Currilat to near the Sektori Rinia, creating a marshy bay that is also liked by a number of migratory birds. The fishing point is only 100 meters from Shpresimi Hotel. It is a rocky shore, with little sand, not typical for Adriatic beaches. There you can fish in tranquility, while few fishing boats use the station to anchor when they return from fishing. Cleaning the nets there makes the area attractive for the fish.
While fishing in front of you is a lagoon otherwise called 'Gropat e Bishtit te Palles', where you can watch various ducks, birds and sometimes even pelicans. Earlier, before the moratorium on hunting, ducks and other birds were hunted there by hunters from Durrës and Tirana. During fishing, it may happen that the fish you caught was bitten by a blue crab at the same time. This crab is quite widespread in the shallow waters of the sea coast. It reproduces rapidly and has few enemies in the waters of the Adriatic or even in the marshes linked with the sea along the coast, because it recently was brought by accident from North America and then spread throughout the Mediterranean. During fishing, you can catch sea bass fish, sea bream fish, red mullet, see fish, scorpaena fish, barracuda and of course octopus through the tubes.
Note: Bishti i Palles can be found on many maps under the name Kepi i Palit. There has been a long discussion for centuries about the name of this cape north of Durrës. In some documents of the 11th century it is mentioned as Kepi i Pallas and later as Kepi I Palit. Currently we call it Bishti i Palles. The Ministry of Defense of Albania, since 2000, calls it Bishti i Palles, Kepi i Palit in their notes and maps.
The northwestern part of Bishti i Palla cannot be visited without an authorization from the military authorities because it is a prohibited area.
