Palace of King Zog I
The royal palace was built in 1937 in the neo-classical building style used at the beginning of the XX century. The figure of the national hero Gjergj Kastriot Skenderbeu is engraved on the front facade.
Commercial Street
"Commercial Street", known today as "Epidamn Boulevard", was built after the damage caused by the earthquake of 1926. On both sides of this street, then two and three-story buildings (villas) were erected, in harmony with architecture of the time. The upper floors were used for living, while the first floors were for trading, from which it got the name "Commercial Street".
